VaultCall is built to collect as little as possible. Here's exactly what that means.

No tracking, no analytics

There are no third-party trackers, analytics, or advertising scripts. We don't build a profile of you.

Anonymous by default

You can create and join voice rooms with no account at all — just a shareable code. Names shown in a call are chosen per-device and not tied to any identity.

Accounts are optional and minimal

Signing up takes only a username and password — no email, no phone number, no personal information. An optional display name is yours to set or leave blank.

No IP logging

We never store or log your IP address. It is used transiently, in SHA-256–hashed form only, as a rate-limit key to curb abuse (sign-ups, logins, room creation, uploads) — the raw IP is never written down.

Rooms and media self-destruct

Rooms expire on the timer the creator chooses (from 15 minutes up to 6 hours, depending on whether you're signed in), and when a room expires it and everything shared in it — chat and uploaded files — are permanently deleted. You can also end a room immediately from “My rooms.”

Calls are peer-to-peer and encrypted

Audio flows directly between participants over WebRTC (encrypted SRTP). When a direct connection isn't possible, it relays through our TURN server, which only ever forwards the already-encrypted media — it can't listen in.

Delete your account anytime

From Settings you can permanently delete your account, which also removes your rooms and reserved link. There's no recovery — and nothing retained on our side afterward.
